Principal Architect and founding partner of DDP Architects, Mr. Daimwood has over three decades of experience designing educational facilities. Phil’s enthusiasm and focused persistence has earned him top accolades from clients and industry leaders for his ability to transform client needs into innovative, cost-effective design solutions. Clients consistently benefit from his thorough involvement throughout all stages of the design process.

Phil is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the US Green Building Council (USGBC). He is a registered architect and holds a BS in Architecture from the University of Tennessee.

Imy Martinez

Senior Associate

Ms. Martinez has been a driving force in the success of DDP Architects for over 20 years. Recognized for her creative solutions and ability to spearhead innovative initiatives, Imy has designed numerous schools throughout the State of Florida. Her keen understanding of the changing needs of educational facility design have led to flourishing Architect-Owner relationships.

Imy is a licensed Building Contractor and holds a BS in Architecture from the Pedro Henriquez National University of Santo Domingo. She is a member of the US Green Building Council (USGBC).

Debi Wagner

Vice President of Operations

Ms. Wagner has been an integral part of DDP’s leadership team for over 20 years. Debi provides overall direction and guidance to the operational activities of the firm and is responsible for ensuring that cost effective practices are in place. She oversees the development and management of the annual operating budget and ensures the organization is well positioned. Ms. Wagner has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida.

Darryl Henderson

Senior CADD Technician

DDP Architects was fortunate enough to bring Mr. Henderson on board almost 20 years ago. Native to South Africa, Darryl serves as DDP’s Senior CADD Technician where he oversees the CADD Department. Highly skilled, Darryl produces elevations, plans and detailed working drawings, earning respect for his precision and expedient solutions.

Steven Tipsword

Project Manager

Mr. Tipsword schedules and coordinates all construction processes and is accountable from the development stage to final completion. Working together with owners, engineers and contractors, Steve is responsible for making sure each school is completed on time and within budget. Over a decade of project management and CADD experience, Steve is knowledgeable regarding contracts, plans, specifications, construction methods, materials and regulations.

Melisha Ethier

CADD Technician

Ms. Ethier complements DDP’s CADD team with her energetic approach to the practice and over 15 years of drafting experience in both commercial and residential construction. Melisha prepares architectural plans, details, and renderings while coordinating her efforts with DDP's engineering consultants.

Lisa Thornton

Executive Assistant

Since 2003, Lisa has served as Mr. Daimwood’s Executive Assistant. Ms. Thornton is responsible for performing a wide variety of technical, clerical, and professional administrative duties while enabling the organization to run effectively and efficiently. Her joyful demeanor and responsive customer service keeps the office organized and morale high.

Jodi Miller

Director of Marketing

Ms. Miller oversees all marketing and business development efforts for DDP Architects. She represents DDP at pre-submittal meetings, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the firm’s services. Jodi manages proposal submissions, creates marketing materials and reinforces the firm’s branding and corporate identity. Ms. Miller holds a BS in Finance from the University of Central Florida.

Kate Johnson

Marketing Coordinator

Ms. Johnson supports all efforts of DDP’s Marketing Department. She creates internal newsletters, maintains the project database, and keeps the team abreast of proposal opportunities. Kate’s creativity and ability to expedite proposal submissions makes her a valuable contributor to the marketing team.
